Privacy policy

I got a message from a reader who wondered why the "feedback" link in the Mailbag just takes you to the Brooklyn Jackolytes Yahoo group instead of bringing up a nice, convenient mailto: link for the guy in question.

So, just to make things clear: if you write to me, I reserve the right to publish excerpts from your mail on the site, along with any included pictures. However, out of respect for your privacy, my Default Policy is not to post reader contact info, such as your email address or the instant-message handle that appears in your .sig, unless you explicitly request that I publish it. In other words, if you'd like other Brooklyn Jack readers to get in touch with you directly, just tell me which contact info it's okay to include with your letter and/or pics:

P.S. The example address given above is my own, but I hardly ever check it, so don't bother...
