Not to drag politics onto the blog, but...

Copies of this book by a young John Kerry are apparently hot tickets on eBay now, as conservative pundits and bloggers gleefully remind the nation of Kerry's colorful protest days. Back in the early 1970s, as a returned Vietnam vet, Kerry purportedly slandered his fellow soldiers as a pack of rape-crazy baby-killers, and also kept company with VC cheerleader Jane Fonda. I have no idea if those allegations are true, and in any case he should be judged by his current positions, not those of three decades ago.

But I merely wanted to comment on the front-cover photo of Kerry's The New Soldier, in which a kneeling Che Guevara appears to be administering a howlingly painful titty-twister to one of a pair of conjoined twins, while the other twin gets a public handjob from Gore Vidal...

Or maybe I'm just seeing things.
